Introduction

   This CD-ROM publication contains electronic versions of material presented
   at the SIGGRAPH 97 conference, held in Los Angeles, California, 3-8 August,
   1997.

CD-ROM Organization

   The following folders and files appear at the top level of each CD-ROM.

     Folder/File Name            Description

     acroindx                    Folder containing Adobe Acrobat Search
                                 indices which allow Acrobat Reader with
                                 Search to do keyword searches through
                                 all PDF documents on the CD-ROM.
                                  
     acroread                    Folder containing Adobe Acrobat Reader
                                 for Macintosh, DOS, Windows 3.1/NT/95,
                                 and several UNIX platforms.
                                   
     contents                    Folder containing presented material in
                                 Adobe Acrobat PDF, HTML, QuickTime, MPEG,
                                 and other file formats.
               
     contents.htm                HTML document containing a table of contents
                                 of the content on this CD-ROM, with links to 
                                 the material.
                                  
     contents.pdf                Adobe Acrobat PDF document containing a table
                                 of contents of the content on this CD-ROM,  
                                 with links to the material.
                                  
     readme.mac                  This file, in Macintosh-formatted ASCII.
     readme.txt                  This file, in DOS-formatted ASCII.
     readme.unx                  This file, in UNIX-formatted ASCII.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Software

   Adobe Acrobat Reader software for many platforms is available on the CD-ROM
   in the "acrobat" folder. 
   
   Installation instructions for this software can be found in the "acrobat" 
   folder in files named "readme.mac" (Macintosh), "readme.txt" (PC), and 
   "readme.unx" (UNIX). 
   
   The PDF content of the CD-ROM has been indexed for keyword searching with
   Adobe Acrobat Search. To use the search index for a particular CD-ROM, the 
   file "index.pdx" in the folder "acroindx" must be loaded into the Acrobat 
   Reader with Search software as a search index (select the 
   "Tools -> Search -> Indexes" menu item in Acrobat Reader).
